Pasque Flower

Pasque Flower

The best time to see the pasque flower is end of April to mid May. It’s a rare flower in the Chilterns, but can still be found in at least two places at either ends of the AONB.

A number of flowers can be found in the Barton Hills area where it has flowered for as long as anyone can remember.

A site where the pasque flower was reintroduced is Hartslock where it appears to be doing okay, although presently restricted to a very small area. If you go looking for it, tread carefully.
